The only way to really control your life is to be responsible for your own choices and your own reactions. Do not allow fear, anger and rage to blind you to reality. These emotions are usually, somehow, directed at ourselves. If we feel we are undeserving, unloved or not good enough, we succumb to suffering. Stop this senseless self-punishment and self-ridicule. We all have a shadow side. Do not condemn this part of your psyche. Instead, acknowledge its presence and gentley loosen its grip. Breathe acceptance into its embrace and allow your shadow to show you the way. Shine your light brightly into the darkness. Illuminate the path before you and move forward to peace.
