Sensitivity must be tempered with strength or it will weaken you from the inside out. Do not allow other people’s views to feed your fears and play on your insecurities. You are not well served whenever you give your power away in this manner. Instead, drama and discontent are drawn into your life. Honor yourself by setting healthy boundaries. Do not allow others to define you. Define yourself. You alone are responsible for how you feel; how your respond; how you choose to live. Self-respect is the foundation for loving yourself and the stepping stone to accepting humanity. Compassion will be the natural byproduct of this environment; and sensible sensitivity can be realized.
